The fine decor and tranquil views. Breakfast choices were superlative, served in a beautifully restored dining area.
The absence of a late-night snack option was a slight drawback, as I craved something after a long day of exploring.

high spec design, beautiful decor, modern bathroom
Check-in hours feel way too restricted and the itinerant nature of the hotel makes guests feel a bit confined!!! A facility for late arrival would be much appreciated. Comfortable seating in the common areas seems lacking too!!!

charming spot near popular attractions and scenic walking areas
I recently enjoyed my stay in a beautifully decorated Superior King Room, and the easy access to the nearby National Trust Lacock Abbey and the picturesque Bowood Woodland Gardens made my weekend city strolls nice.

Helen and Wyatt are amazing hosts! Our room was spacious with a lovely view and a comfy 4-poster bed. Breakfast was great, with a great variety, including vegan options. The setting is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. I'd totally recommend this spot 🌟

The Superior Twin Room with Garden View was a nice escape with bottles of water waiting to quench my thirst after a long day. The view from the room was tranquil and made for a pleasant start to the morning.
I found it a bit annoying that check-in is only between 4-7 PM and that visitors aren't allowed on-site. The room got stifling hot without any way to adjust the temperature, uncomfortable during the night.

This was probably the best place we stayed during our two weeks in Britain. The grounds are beautifully manicured, and the bedroom was good. The breakfast was tailored to our preferences, and we loved the warm welcome from the owners and their lovely dog.
No access to the garden patio.

This place was a commendable fit for a holiday in Lacock with good value for price. They provided complimentary bottles of water which was a nice touch after a long day of exploring. Bring snacks with you if you want something late at night.

Spending one night as a couple in the Superior King Room was a nice experience. The breakfast stood out, with a good array of choices, including famed USDA prime-aged steaks, made for a unique morning treat. The experience was somewhat marred by restrictions on using the hotel, such as no visitors and check-in only between 4-7 pm. I found the room too hot without the option of adjusting the temperature.
